I’ve spent a lot of time on the couch this week, due to a serious foot injury, so I’ve been putting my laptop to good use. My latest project has been math and literacy worksheets for 1st graders for the month of November.
My first grader loves to bring home her completed worksheets and show them off on our fridge. Her absolute favorites are the seasonal inspired ones. A white piece of paper with a bunch of sight words on it is completely boring, but add some scarecrows or turkeys she can color, and now you have something interesting.
This particular bundle is inspired by the month of November. It is filled with fall leaves, turkeys, pumpkins, pie, and other autumn awesomeness. The worksheets cover a variety of 1st grade skills from addition and subtraction to word families and creative writing.
Let me show you a few of my favorites, and at the end of this post, I have a special freebie you can print for your littles.
Here are some of the worksheets from the math section.
My kids loved the, “Eat More Pie!” prompt from the Thanksgiving turkey on the number words worksheets. It’s always fun to get their input and design ideas.
They also helped me design some of the literacy worksheets.
My kids love a great true or false question, and it’s great reading practice. The Create a Sentence worksheet with the turkey that says gobble, gobble, gobble was also a favorite. All of these worksheets are great for fall, particularly the month of November. They were designed and bundled for use in a classroom, but they would also be perfect for an addition to a homeschool curriculum or just extra practice.
I’d love to hear what you think. Just leave me a comment below. Tell me what your favorites are, or if there is something you would like to see in the next bundle. Here’s your FREE PRINTABLE WORKSHEET as promised, and if you print it, please take a minute to pin one or more of the other worksheets on this page. It would really help me out as I continue to create fun printables.

I’m going to have to print out your free printables! My 5 year old is still in preschool, but loves to do “homework” when we’re home. We get the activity books from the Dollar Store, but these are great. Thanks so much!
My 3 and 5-year-olds love to work on these worksheets. They come steal them from my test print pile. 🙂 I hope your son enjoys them.
I really love these! How can I get them? Are you on TPT? I teach first grade and these are perfect and I want to get more!
Hi Kristie,
Thank you! Yes I am on TPT. You can purchase this set at https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/1st-Grade-Math-and-Literacy-Printables-November-2164893 or if you want to get the whole year, you get two of the sets free. Here’s a link to the bundle: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/1st-Grade-Math-and-Literacy-Printables-The-Full-Year-2767575.
I hope that helps. Have a fantastic day!

Hi Amy, do you sell only the literacy pack? I sent you message at TpT, wondering if it is possible to get only the one year literacy without the math worksheets since I have plenty of math already. Thanks.
thank you!
looking forward to freebies on diagraphs and blends
These are great for my small group and center activities!
