Kids can count and compare gingerbread parts. We used gingerbread crackers for this math game, but you could also use gingerbread foam stickers or buttons.
Gingerbread Man Counting Activity
How do you want to decorate your gingerbread man? Pick a card and use those items to make your design. This is great for creativity and counting.
Sort and Compare Gumdrop Colors
We love to work on sorting in preschool and kindergarten. This activity encourages kids to sort by color as well as counting and comparing numbers. There is a LOT of great math in this one. (Note: If you don’t want to use gumdrops, just substitute pom poms.)
Counting Gingerbread House Lights
Kids get to count and decorate the gingerbread house for Christmas in this fun math activity. You can try to make patterns or just count out the numbers as you see them on the cards.
