GINGERBREAD MAN ALPHABET ACTIVITIES
Dab a Letter

My kids LOVE our dot markers (Bingo daubers.) For this activity I let them do one color for the capital letter and another for the lowercase letter.
The hunt for and dot their letters.
Then, they get to count and record how many of each they find.
This combines Letter Recognition, Counting, Sorting, Comparing Numbers, and Fine Motor skills all in one no-prep activity. SWEET!
Gingerbread Buttons

We used colorful buttons for this activity. You could sub out for gumdrops or use pom poms with tongs.
That would give you some grip strength practice and could even be combined with a sensory bin activity.
Which Letters Don’t Fit Bingo
This activity is the opposite of two above. For this alphabet game the kids look for all of the letters that don’t match.
You could easily turn this into a Bingo game, calling out all of the letters, and see which child can cover all of the non-focus letters first.
Again, you could use buttons or pom poms for this fun twist on the alphabet letter find game.
