Grab your AMAZING 26 Page Alphabet Freebie Today!
We are running a series of crafts geared at helping the children learn the alphabet. Each letter of the alphabet will be paired with items that children love. Pairing the letters with fun items will help the kids have better letter recognition and also help them remember their sounds.
Well, guess what! It is time for another letter!
As you can tell from the title of this post, this craft is for the letter B! The item that the letter B is paired with is balloons! That’s right, B is for Balloons! Every kids loves balloons! So hopefully, everyone that participates in making this B is for Balloons Craft will have a great time and an even greater ability for remembering.
It would be fun to have some actual balloons around, while making this craft. That way the kids can blow them up, toss them around, and maybe even pop them! That will make this B is for Balloons Craft an even bigger success!
Supplies
Instructions:
Gather all of the needed supplies.
Print the letter B template and print onto paper or card stock and then cut it out.
Trace the letter B onto the craft foam. Cut the letter out.
Print the BALLOON pieces template. Cut out.
Trace the balloon template onto colored craft foam and the cloud onto white craft foam and cut it out. You can also cut out some extra detail from white craft foam and glue to the balloons.
Glue the balloons and cloud onto the letter B. Then add strings to the balloon using a black marker.
Now the craft is complete and ready to hang up. Hopefully it can be hung in a place that the children can admire it and remember it. The more they see it the better they remember the letter B and it’s sound. Remember to keep the real balloons around for a while to keep the excitement going!
You can also create this craft with paper. Print the templates directly onto colored paper, or trace them onto construction paper. You could use all of the alphabet crafts to create your very own alphabet book. Just paste them into a notebook.
