Do you need Robot Morning Tubs for your preschool or kindergarten class? Morning tubs are often used as students are coming in and settling in for the day. They engage kids while attendance is being taken, homework folders are being opened and checked, and those types of daily tasks. Morning tubs are great for a couple of reasons.
- Building Independence: Kids are able to work on their own or in small groups at their table to use their bin(s). It encourages them to self-start and learn/play on their own.
- Socialization: Morning tubs give kids a chance to work together in small groups. They get to share pieces, solve problems together, and even just talk, play, and learn for a few minutes with a couple of their tablemates.
- Creativity and Play: Creativity is something we can build and increase by spending time working on it. Morning tubs are a perfect way to introduce a little more play and freedom into learning rather than traditional worksheets or morning work that kept kids busy but did not encourage creativity and play.

Morning Tub – Robot Activities

Alphabet Match
Time to fill the robots hands with letters that match! Once you identify the target letter, decide if you need an uppercase or lowercase letter to match. Use magnet letters or letter tiles.

Tinker Shop 10 Frame
Building robots takes lots of parts and tinkering! Use real or toy nuts and bolts to complete the ten frame. Circle cereal, pom poms, colored matchsticks/toothpicks work great too! Can you name which number is bigger and which is smaller on each card?

Nut Shapes
What shapes do you need for your robot? Identify the target shape in the robots hand and place shape buttons or small manipulatives on each matching shape.

Robot Trails Tracing
Help the robots get to the end of the trail by tracing the line with a dry erase marker, or using small circle cereal to complete the line. Easy fine motor skills practice.

Hi
Do these robot sheets come in 4×6 or can I make them into 4×6 to fit to photo boxes that work better for me.
They are each about 1/2 of a full, standard size of paper.
You can try adjusting your printer to print 4×6.
