Children will have the opportunity to practice a variety of science skills from making predications, to observing, classifying, understanding attributes, and more.

Science is important for a few reasons:

1.  Learning to classify, sort, observe, and make predictions is part of everyday life.

2.  Science is all around us from mixing paint colors, cooking, or playing outside. You can                   incorporate science into everyday fun.

3.  Skills learned through experiments and exploration are cumulative so your child will                      continue to build on what they know and learn.

Included in the Christmas Science theme are 10 different activities and experiments to practice preschool science skills. Enjoy activities like forming hypothesis and making predictions to create salt crytal ornaments. Learning about static electricity and discovering what “sticks”to a balloon. Kids will have a blast creating Christmas slime and manipulating it into different shapes. Have you every seen jingle bells dance? We’ve included a super fun experiment to make that happen!  Practice your STEM skills by building a tree from cups and decorating it! We also included a “snack-tivity” with Gumdrop STEM building. Kids will be mesmorized with the magic milk experiment too! This entire set will have your little scientist making predictions and observations, while learning and having a blast!
