Dot markers are a great way to mark the numbers. You can also cover the letters with stickers, or pinch a pom pom in a clothespin and dab it in paint and stamp.

That way you mix a bit of Fine Motor practice in there with your literacy and math.

We also like to print our pages on colored paper and slide them into sheet protectors.
