Work on STEM while you study shapes and their characteristics with this fun playdough and sticks activity.
Night Sky Addition
Go for glow in the dark math with this activity. Just add glow in the dark stars. You could also try using buttons or stickers if you prefer.
Fishpond Subtraction
Turn this into a fun snacktivity by using goldfish crackers or you can use toy fish or mini erasers to do your subtraction.
Fishpond Graphing
For this activity kids get to sort by color and graph the data. You can ask them to identify which color of fish they found the most of and how many they found the least of.
Sight Words Roast
We used white pom poms or cotton balls for our marshmallows. You can also use actual marshmallows for a fun snacktivity while you read and identify matching sight words.
Writing Prompts
Have your kids practice writing 3-4 sentence stories with these fun writing prompts. They’ll get to practice narrative, informative, and opinion writing.
Word Mixer
Switch out the beginning sounds with the Word Mixers activity. This is great phonics practice for early readers.
