Grab your AMAZING 26 Page Alphabet Freebie Today!
Great news!! We’ve been putting together some preschool letter crafts for you, and this first one is our Letter A craft. The theme for this craft is A is for Airplane, and you can create it out of colored paper or foam sheets.
What kid doesn’t love airplanes? They are just so fun. It also makes this letter a craft perfect for a transportation week theme for preschool, or you can do it as a stand alone project. The children will love making their little airplanes, and placing them right on top of their letter A.
You can offer fun colors of the foam board or printed templates, so that the children can customize their airplane. They can design their own airplane body color and wing color.
This airplane features circle windows, which is a great way to practice that shape as well. Draw them by yourself, cut them out, or even use circle stickers to complete the look.
Here are the instructions for this fun and easy craft that the kids will be sure to enjoy.

After gathering all of the supplies, you will first download the letter A template and print onto paper or cardstock.
Cut out the letter A and trace onto the craft foam.
Cut the letter out.
Print out the airplane template and cut out.
Cut the wings out of the plane template. Trace the body of the airplane onto orange craft foam and cut out.
Use black marker to draw on windows.
Trace the wings onto green craft foam and cut out.
Glue the wings onto the airplane body.
Cut clouds from white craft foam and glue onto the letter A. Glue airplane on top of the clouds.
Now find a fun spot to hang this A is for Airplane craft so that the little kids can admire their handy work and be reminded of the letter A at the same time!
