Valentine’s Day was a favorite holiday of mine as a child. My sister and I would staple paper hearts together to make Valentine bags. Then we spent hours coloring, cutting, and pasting to make cards and Valentines for each other. We rarely had treats to share, but we loved it anyway.
Elementary school Valentine’s parties were the BEST! I always came home with a pile of loot, and the coloring pages and activities were so fun. It didn’t hurt that there were usually sugar cookies to decorate, and other fun treats.
