Hello,
What are some fun craft activities I can do with students who have autism. I cautious about them putting supplies in their mouths.
I’m not versed enough to know what might work best with children with autism, I would suggest taking any of these fabulous crafts and adapting them if you can to fit your student’s/child’s needs.
You could try ocean ideas with larger items, maybe cut out shell shapes from sponges to paint/stamp onto blue paper to create an ocean. 🙂
using edible paints such as pudding choc syrup even ketchup works use oatmeal for whales colored. sugar for glitter and things like fruit loops frosted flakes cheerio eyes You just need to use your imagination
Great ideas!
If you have kids in your class that like to eat paint or put the the paintbrush in their mouth, I suggest using whip cream like for the seahorse craft that used shaving cream. We just did this last week in my special needs class and my loved getting to eat it after doing their artwork!
Great idea! We love a good “snack-tivity.”
